What we love about Waitara
Welcome to Waitara
Whilst close to Hornsby CBD Waitara maintains its own unique identity. Housing comprises a small number of freestanding homes, which are in high demand and the remainder of dwellings are predominately newer apartments built from early 2000 to 2020. Waitara has its own train station with direct access to Sydney CBD. Hornsby Council has recently invested in significant upgrades to recreational facilities in particular at Waiatar Park. Central to Waitara Park is the famous Mark Taylor Oval, ideal for cricket enthusiasts. A new PCYC has also been constructed along with upgraded tennis courts and other sporting facilities. The ever-popular Waitara Public School has also undergone extensive upgrades in recent years. If you are in the market for a new car Waitara is a hub for the automotive industry with a number of dealerships.
